Notes:

28 Jul 1809 ship's boats of the Excellent, with the Acorn and Bustard, cut out from the port of Duin, north-west of Trieste, six Italian gun-boats, along with 10 laden coasters.

9-24 Oct 1810 the Cerberus having joined the Amphion and Active on the 9th at Lissa, and the Acorn on the 12th, the squadron, went in search of the French, but had returned to Ancona.

28 Nov 1811 leaving the ship Acorn to assist in the defence of the port, the frigates Alceste, Active, and Unit� departed from Lissa in pursuit of a French frigate squadron, and following a chase captured the Pomone and the Persanne, laden with military stores etc.

Portsmouth, Aug 9 1813 arrived from the eastward.

Portsmouth Sep 9 1813 departed for the Cape of Good Hope, with General Meade, second in command at the Cape ; and several Naval Officers to join ships in the East Indies.
v 20 Oct 1814 ordered to the Gulph for the protection of the trade.

Madras, Aug 25, 1815 On Sunday, reported to be anchored in the roads, from Calcutta.

1 May 1816 Acorn sails to advise Commodore G Sayle, in the Leda, of the death of Rear Admiral Sir G. Burlton. Commodore Sayle returned from China to take command of East India station.
