2 Nov 1800 Plymouth, arrived from the squadron off the Black Rocks, with dispatches for Admiral Earl St. Vincent. The squadron was all well and rode out the late gales of wind in Deuarnez Bay.

18 Jun 1801 came into Plymouth Sound from the Channel Fleet, Left them all well on Monday last off Brest.

19 Jun 1801 departed Plymouth Sound with a convoy for the Downs.

20 Jun 1801 put back to Plymouth Sound the Admiral Mitchell, Lieutenant Derby, with her convoy.

23 Jun 1801 departed Plymouth Sound with a convoy for the downs.

24 Jun 1801 put back to Plymouth Sound being taken aback off the Bolt Tail.

25 Jun 1801 departed Plymouth Sound with a convoy for the Downs.

29 Jun 1801 re-captured the brigs Supply, Favorite, and Prince of Wales. Lt John Derby, Commanding.

3 Jul 1801 arrived Spithead from a cruise, during which he recaptured, off Bologna, two vessels, laden with iron and timber, and sent them into Dover.

6 Jul 1801 departed Spithead on a cruise off Boulogne.

14 Jul 1801 the Admiral Mitchell, Lt Darby, remained at Torbay.

18 Jul 1801 arrived Torbay last night, about nine o'clock, from a short cruise, and sent her boat in shore for dispatches from the Post Office, and got under weigh again, immediately the boat returned, to join the Channel Fleet off Brest. Wind about WNW.

25 Aug 1801 letters from Dartmouth, state the arrival there of the hired cutter Admiral Mitchell, Lt Derby, in company with the Alert, hired cutter, and a large American ship, from New York to Havre de Grace ; full of India goods of various descriptions, valued per manifest at �50,000 supposed French property, as a French merchant, supercargo, and family were on board going to Old France.

10 Sep 1801 arrived Spithead from a cruise.

30 Sep 1801 will be paid salvage monies due following the re-capture of the brigs Supply and Favorite, and sloop Prince of Wales, in the Downs.

8 Oct 1801 remains at Brixham with cutter Alert.

9 Oct 1801 departed Brixham with hired cutter Alert.

23 Oct 1801 came into Plymouth Sound the Admiral Mitchell, Lieutenant Derby, from a cruise off the coast of France.

28 Oct 1801 went into Catwater, the Admiral Mitchell, 16, Lieutenant J. Derby, she and all the hired craft have sent their store's and guns to the different departments, previous to being paid off.

5 Nov 1801 the Admiral Mitchell, Lieut. J. Derby, went into Catwater, and all the hired craft have sent their stores and guns to the yard and gunwharf.
