18 Oct 1796 Adventure and another captured the French privateer Capit G�n�reux on the West Indies station.

23 Jun 1798 arrived Port Royal, Jamaica.

3 Jul 1798 returned to Port Royal, Jamaica.

1 Jan 1799 Capt. J. Chilcott. Store Ship at Jamaica.

19 Jan 1799 arrived Spithead, from the West Indies, but got aground on the Middle bank, opposite the Queen's Battery, and was got off this morning, without having received any material damage.

19 Mar 1799 in Portsmouth harbour, waiting to be docked.

3 May 1799 arrived Plymouth, from Guernsey.

13 Aug-Oct 1799 employed on expedition to Holland.

7 Dec 1799 arrived Portsmouth from the Downs with a convoy.

Circa May 1800 Captain Mansel, of the Adventure, is made Post. Captain Carter succeeds.

7 May 1800 departed Portsmouth, with a convoy for the Downs.

4 Dec 1800 arrived Portsmouth, the Adventure, armed en flute, from Gibraltar.

14 Jun 1801 has been fitted out at Deptford as a receiving ship for Sheerness.

28 Jun 1801 arrived Sheerness from Deptford, having been appointed receiving ship at at this port.

25 July 1801 at Sheerness it is reported that the Ardent, Glatton and Adventure are to be fitted as floating batteries without delay.

17 Nov-30 Dec 1802 prize money resulting from the expedition to Holland due for payment.
