Between Aug and Oct 1797 captured the French privateer Nantaise on the Jamaica station.

12 Feb-30 Mar 1799 captured 1 merchant vessel whilst on the Jamaica station.

30 Mar 1801 the Sans Pareil, 80 ; Carnatic, Thunderer, 74s ; York, 64 ; Abergavenny, 54 ; Apollo, Nereide, 36s ; Retribution, 32 ; Bonetta, 18 ; Merlin, 16, ; Albicore, 16, Capt Chilcot, were at Port Royal, Jamaica, when the Falmouth packet Lady Francis arrived from Martinique.

10 Sep 1801 arrived Spithead the Albacore sloop of war, from Jamaica.

16 Sep 1801 arrived in the Downs from the Westward and a little later departed for Sheerness.

18 Sep 1801 arrived Sheerness, the Albicore, Capt Chilcott, from the West Indies station.

28 Sep 1801 now being in dock at Sheerness, she remains here.

16 Nov 1801 remains at Sheerness, and it has been ordered that the Albicore should be sold.

18 Nov 1801 remains in dock at Sheerness.

14 Dec 1801 the Selby, and Albicore sloops ; and the Bruiser, Plumper and Tigress gun brigs are reported to be up for sale.
