Notes:

1804 ADM 41/23 Ships' Musters.

3 Nov 1804 departed Spithead with dispatches for Sir John Orde, who departed Spithead yesterday with a squadron with sealed orders. It might also be worth noting in light of her subsequent loss, that the weather was pretty awful around this period ; eg the Lively departed Spithead 31 Oct, but returned the following day with storm damage, ie with the loss of her mizen top-mast and fore-yard ; and the Holyhead - Dublin packet was lost last Tuesday.

May 1805 with Vice Admiral Sir John Orde, according to Steel's list of the RN for May 1805, but could be wrong?
