18 Feb 1848 departed from Mozambique for Angoza, and went inside the Angosh Islands, and looked up the river but found nothing. From there departed to Quinging's River and the Primeira Islands, before departing for Quillimane, and arriving on the 23rd Feb.

25 Feb 1848 spoke with the Governor.

28 Feb 1848 departed Quillimane for Luabo, looking up the river there and up the branches of the Gambia.

7 Mar 1848 in the region of Sofala, where a brig was inspected, but did not show any signs of being involved in the slave trade and continued cruising.

13 Apr 1848 returned to Mozambique to provision and water the vessel and make good minor defects.

24 Apr 1848 departed from Mozambique for Angosh.

27 Apr 1848 arrived Angosh, where on the 29th the ship's boats were used to cruise up the river.

29 Apr 1848 visited the Angoza River region, where strong measures had been taken previously by the Flag Officer to remove the slave factories &c., which appeared to have had satisfactory results.

5 May 1848 off Quillimane observed a brig anchor inside the bar and sent the ship's boats to examine her.

7 May 1848 continued the cruise to the southward looking up all the rivers as far as Delagoa Bay and continued cruising until 23 May, when provisions were getting short again and so returned to Simon's Town.

11 Jun 1848 arrived at Simon's Town from a cruise to refit and re-provision etc., and write reports to the Flag Officer concerning what has been done during the recent cruise ; who they have spoken to ; the attitudes of people towards the slave trade &c.

2 Sep 1848 at Simon's Bay, having recently returned from another anti-slavery cruise in the waters around Mozambique, where not one slaver has appeared off the coast in the last 5 months or so.

3 June 1854 off Whydah, and shortly due to depart for the West Indies.

4 June 1854 departs Whydah for Ascension, to pick up her Commander (sick at hospital), en route for Cuba.

12 Apr 1857 the ship's pinnace under Lieutenant E. Stubbs detained a slave schooner, Name Unknown, supposed Cuba or Zeldina, on the coast of Cuba with 369 slaves on board, after a chase of 4 hours, which was taken to St. Ann's Bay on the north side of Jamaica, where the steam sloop Victor accompanied the prize to Port Royal for adjudication by the Vice Admiralty Court at Jamaica, which on 18 May 1857 sentenced her to be condemned, and landed the surviving 362 Negro slaves, who were put in the charge of the customs authorities. The pinnace was left to report the situation to the Arab when she arrived at the rendez-vous. Found no papers or flag to indicate the nationality or name of the vessel, which had departed Cabinda 48 days previously with 500 Negroes. 12 Mar 1858 distribution of the tonnage bounty awarded announced in the London Gazette of 11 Nov 1859

23 May 1857 arrived Havana from Port Royal.

25 May 1857 departed Havana for England.
