22 Jan 1799 Plymouth, undocked.

21 Sep 1801 arrived Falmouth for orders, and departed again in this evening, the Assault, gun brig, Lt G A Orton, for the Scilly Isles.

15 Mar 1802 arrived Falmouth, the Assault, Lt G. Orton from off the Scilly Isles.

Circa 27 Jun 1803 Lt J Kentish apptd to the Assault.

23 Aug 1803 fitting in Hamoaze and will soon be ready for sea.

9 Oct 1803 went down from Hamoaze, into the Sound, having repaired the damage she received during the bombardment of Granville, when she got on shore and had to throw her guns overboard to lighten the ship to enable the Assault to float off at high tide.

13 Oct 1803 departed Plymouth to join Adm Saumarez's squadron off the Channel Isles.

23 Nov 1803 arrived Spithead the Assault and Grappler, gun brigs, the former having been obliged to run into harbour as a result of the damage she received in the late gales.

1 Jan 1804 departed Spithead the Eling schooner and the gun brig Assault on a cruise.

6 Jul 1804 arrived Spithead from Guernsey, the Assault, Lieut Kentish.

7 Jul 1804 the schooner Spider arrived at the Custom House, Portsmouth, with 200 kegs, in company with gun brig Assault, with 137 kegs of spirits, which were taken near the Isle of Wight.

19 Jul 1804 departed Spithead with a convoy for Guernsey.

Circa 29 Dec 1804 departed Portsmouth harbour for Spithead.
