29 Aug 1826 the Aurora, in company with the Harlequin and Tweed, detained in lat. 19� 46' N., long. 75� 56' W., off St. Jago (Santiago) de Cuba when bound from the Old Calabar, on the West Coast of Africa, to Santiago, the Spanish slave brigantine Nuevo Campeador, alias Argus, Juan Botel, Master, which was sent for adjudication to the British and Spanish Mixed Court of Justice, Havannah, and sentenced to be condemned.

11 Feb 1832 it has been announced that the Aurora is to be fitted out as a coal store, from whence steam packets are to be supplied with coals.

May 1832 has been fitted out as a coal depot at Plymouth and moved down to Falmouth.

13 Oct 1841 the coal depot Aurora is reported to have arrived Gibraltar, from Plymouth.

24 Apr 1851 Devonport. Late coal depot at Falmouth is being broken up at this Dockyard.
