22 Apr 1850, sighted at anchor off the Isle of Pines, off the coast of Cuba, captured in the Gulf of Mexico, lat. 23� 27', N., long. 87� 48' W., after a chase of 49 hours the slave brig Clementina, 176 tons, Joao Gonsalves Bandeira, master, with 284 Africans on board, having departed the coast of Africa with 358. 20 Jun 1850 arrived at Port Royal, .

18 Apr 1851 per the Flag Officer, to be employed on anti-slavery duties off the coast of Cuba as the trade has been picking up of late, but only when other duties permit.

30 Aug 1851 North America & West Indies.

8 Jun 1853 cruising off the eastern end of Cuba.

Circa Oct 1853 is reported by H.M. Commissary judge at Havana and by the Flag Officer at Halifax to be cruising off the south coast of Cuba.
