1 Jun 1813 preparations and manoeuvres leading up to the capture of the Chesapeake by the Shannon.
6 Jun 1813 Shannon arrived at Halifax with her prize the Chesapeake, which was subsequently purchased into the service.
7 Jul 1813 is reported in the Acadian Recorder to have been commissioned, and Capt. Gordon is supposed to have been appointed in command.
Portsmouth 20 Sep 1814 arrived from Halifax (22 Aug).
Plymouth 1 Oct 1814 arrived from Portsmouth, with American prisoners, to be marched to Dartmoor prison.
Plymouth 26 Dec 1814 Remains with the convoy for the Cape and India, waiting the arrival of the Niger from Portsmouth.
Portsmouth 28 Aug 1815 arrived from the Cape of Good Hope.
