27 Jun 1846 The "Agincourt" and "China" have been taken up for the conveyance of the troops to India.
15 Aug 1846 A letter from Capt Livesey of 12 Aug, off Sydney Heads, reports that the "China" with the 1st detachment of the 51st, departed from Hobart Town on 8th inst., leaving the "Agincourt" at anchor in the Derwent, to follow immediately.

23 Jan 1847 The Agincourt and China, from Hobart Town, had arrived at Calcutta in safety, and proceeded on to Madras with the troops. The Emily Jane, from Sydney September 11th, arrived at Calcutta 10th November, and the Emerald Isle, from Sydney September 3, on the 14th November.
