22 Sep 1799 Plymouth, the Dasher between the Island and Main, dragged near the shore, but got out another cable and anchor and rode the gale out.

28 Sep 1799 Plymouth, departed with a convoy to the Eastward.

18 Dec 1799 Plymouth, departed to the westward.

5 Jan 1800 Plymouth, arrived from Valentia, in Spain, the Commerce Swedish ship Bergman, with brandies, detained by the Dasher, Capt. Tobin.

28 Jan 1800 Plymouth, arrived from Torbay.

18 Feb 1800 Plymouth, departed with the Fairy and Harpy on a cruise off the coast of France.

28 Feb 1800 Plymouth, last evening departed on a cruise off the Isle of Bas, with the Suffisante, Havick, and Spider schooner, 14.

30 May 1800 Plymouth, departed on a cruise. She returned again in the evening, landing two seamen mutineers of the Danae, 24 guns, taken out of a cartel off the Sound, and sent them on board the Cambridge, 74, flag ship in Hamoaze.

7 Apr 1801 arrived Plymouth Sound the St John's, Newfoundland brig, William, Wadland / Wadling, Master, laden with ironmongery, &c., bound from Bristol to Newfoundland, taken the 1st inst., off the Manacler, by the Renard, French privateer, 10 guns, and 60 men, Citizen Niquer, and sent for France ; La Renard had also taken a brig, with corn for Plymouth. The William being within Isle Bas, 5 leagues on the 3d instant, the Dasher, of 18 guns, Captain Tobin in sight, the William was most gallantly cut out under a heavy fire from a battery, by the Dasher's armed boat, commanded by Lieutenant Oliver, who brought her clear off in a very spirited style.

2 May 1801 arrived Plymouth Sound from a cruise.

17 Jun 1801 came into Plymouth Sound the Temeraire chasse marie, with wines, prize to the Dasher.

2 Aug 1801 arrived Plymouth a small French merchant brig, laden with sundry articles, taken off the French coast by the Dasher.

21 Aug 1801 came into Plymouth Sound from a cruise.

10 Oct 1801 the Dasher was paid off, following the declaration of the temporary period of peace with France, and her crew turned over to the Cambridge flag-ship in Hamoaze.

Circa 21 Nov 1802 Captain Delafons, of the Childers, apptd to the Dasher.

18 Dec 1802 at Plymouth, is reported to be fully manned with volunteers and is now ready for sea in Hamoaze. It is noted in the local newspapers that some of these men were recently discharged from the Service and had purchased craft with a view to plying for trade at Mutton Cove and North Corner, but that their earnings were so scanty that they had sold their craft and entered on board the Dasher and other cruisers in the harbour that were short of men.

13 Mar 1803 arrived Gibraltar last night with dispatches, and departs this evening for Malta with dispatches.

28 Mar 1803 arrived Plymouth Sound from Malta, last from Gibraltar, with dispatches. Spoke to the Belleisle, Capt Whitby, steering for Malta, as she departed the Gut of Gibraltar. As with most vessels arriving from Gibraltar and the Mediterranean around this time she put in quarantine.

31 Mar 1803 released from quarantine.

2 Apr 1803 has gone up Hamoaze to refit.

5 Apr 1803 has come back down into the Sound.

9 Apr 1803 is at single anchor in the Sound and said to be stored and victualled for 4 months.

12 Apr 1803 departed Plymouth for a cruise.

13 Apr 1803 arrived Plymouth from a cruise.

6 Jun 1803 sent into Plymouth the Dutch ship Vrow Emerantia, a prize to the Dasher.

3 Aug 1811 a part of the fleet involved in the invasion of Java, which terminated with the surrender of Dutch and French forces on 16 Sep. 29 Aug Sir-Francis-Drake, Pha�ton, and the sloop Dasher with the ships' boats and marines of the Hussar, capture the town and fort of Samanap, Madura, Java.

17 Jan 1812 Dasher and Leonidas captured the French privateer Confiance at sea.

Cork 26 Oct 1813 Is to take convoy to Jamaica.
