12 Jun 1795 the Channel Fleet, under Lord Bridport, including the Dolly, departed from Spithead for Quiberon bay. 22 Jun sighted the French fleet to west of Belle-Isle, and finding the French admiral had no wish for a fight, ordered the Fleet in chase and to engage as ships came up. During the chase the former British 74, Alexander was retaken, along with the French 74s Tigre and Formidable (subsequently renamed Belleisle). And so ended the Battle of the Isle de Groix.

20 Sep 1795 Lord Bridport remained with his fleet off the coast protecting the ill-conceived Quiberon Bay expeditions until 20 Sep, when he returned with 2 or 3 ships to Spithead, leaving Rear-admiral Harvey in command.

16-17 Jul 1797 with a squadron which destroyed the French frigate Calliope and captured or destroyed a number of her convoy.

25 July 1797 a squadron consisting of the Pomone, Anson, Artois, Triton, Sylph, and Dolly captured the Ship Boston.

29 Apr 1799 Plymouth, arrived the Dolly cutter, with dispatches from Lord Bridport to Admiral Sir T. Paisley, containing an account of the French fleet having, in a thick fog put to sea, and eluded the vigilance of Lord Bridport. On her arrival Admiral Paisley, with his usual vigilance, sent for all captains, and the utmost activity pervaded every naval department. The women were all sent on shore at two o'clock, A. M. The officers visited all the houses at North Corner, called out of their beds all the seamen and marines on shore on liberty. At three A. M. they were sent off in boats in high spirits, on hearing the French fleet was out ; cheering and huzzaing till they got on board their respective ships.

26 Jun 1799 Plymouth, departed the Dolly and Lucifer cutters to join the fleet under Rear Admiral Berkeley, off Rochefort.

28 Apr 1800 28 Apr 1800 Plymouth, departed the Dolly cutter, with dispatches from the fleet, which she left all well on Saturday off Brest,

8 May 1800 Plymouth, the Fowey and Dolly cutters attempted to set fire to the remains of the Repulse, but were obliged to quit her a second time, for fear of the batteries.

23 May 1800 Plymouth, arrived from off Brest the Elephant, 74, Warrior 74, and Dolly cutter. This latter vessel passed under the stern of the Railleur, 18, after the storm of last Friday, laying to under her bare poles, apparently without much damage.

27 May 1800 Plymouth, arrived from a cruise.

24 Dec 1800 arrived Plymouth a French brig laden with wine and brandy, prize to the cutter Dolly, of 10 guns, Lieutenant Watson.

20 Feb 1801 arrived Torbay from the Channel Fleet.

23 Feb 1801 arrived Plymouth the Danish galliot Anna Margaretta, Aarlick, master, laden with wool and liquorice, bound from Bilboa to Alton, sent in by the Dolly hired armed cutter.

24 Feb 1801 remains in Torbay.

28 Feb 1801 departed Torbay, L'Immortalite, and Alcmene, frigates, Magaera, fire ship, and Dolly, cutter, to join the Channel Fleet.

11 Jul 1801 arrived Falmouth, the Dolly, cutter, Watson, from the Channel Fleet, which she left all well yesterday.

24 May 1802 prize money, when the Pomone was in company with the Artois, Anson and hired cutter Dolly, at the capture of the Boston, will be paid at Salter's Hall Court, Canon St., London.
