25 May 1796 hired armed Cutters Dolphin and Charlotte recaptured the Mary.

4 Mar 1797 Salvage money for the recapture of the Mary will be paid out in the Downs.

1 Jan 1799 CO : J Garate ; stationed : Downs and North Sea (N.C.).

13 Aug-Oct 1799 employed on expedition to Holland.

31 May 1800 Rose and Dolphin (Lt. Jarrett), captured the French privateer Risque � Tout, mounting 2 x 4-pounders, and 16 men, Jacques Neel, Captain, out ten hours from Cherbourg, off Cape Barfleur.

28 Aug 1799 capture of the Dutch hulks Drotchterland and Brooderschap, and the ships Helder, Venus, Minerva, and Hector, in the New Diep, in Holland.

16 Jun 1800 16 Jun 1800 Portsmouth, arrived the Dolphin cutter, Lt. Jerrett, with L'Etrusot and Genoa. French privateers, which she captured on the coast of France

11 Sep 1800 Portsmouth, arrived the Champion, with dispatches from Marcou (off Cape la Hogue). On Tuesday last, in company with the Dolphin cutter, and Sparkler and Bouncer gun-brigs, drove on shore and destroyed two sloops, laden with barilla.

15 Oct 1800 Portsmouth, arrived the Dolphin cutter, Lt Jarrett, and Force gun-brig, Lt Tokley, from Marcou.

5 Apr 1801 captured French Privateer Le Masquerade, in company with the Fortunee.

7 Apr 1801 arrived Spithead a French schooner privateer, taken by the Dolphin cutter.

20 Apr 1801 Fortun�e, Trent, and Dolphin captured the French privateer Le Renard, pierced for 10 guns, after a chase of ten hours, close in with St. Aubin's Bay, from St. Maloes, which vessel has been a great detriment to our coasting trade.

4 Jun 1801 Purchased into the Service.

24 Feb 1802 prize money resulting from the capture of the Dutch hulks Drotchterland and Brooderschap, and the ships Helder, Venus, Minerva, and Hector due to be paid.
