Type: Schooner ; Armament 14
Taken : Mar 1813 ; Disposal date or year : 1817
Notes:

Mar 1813 the armed US schooners Arab, Lynx, Racer and Dolphin escaped into the river Rappahannock on sighting a British squadron. The ships' boats were sent in, resulting in the capture of all 4. The Racer and Lynx, as Shelburne and Musquedobit. Although not added to the Navy List she appears to have been used by the Admiral as a tender until sold and is therefore included.

28 Apr 1813 the brigs Fantome and Mohawk, and the tenders Dolphin, Racer, and Highflyer sent up the river Elk to Frenchtown with Royal Marines who destroyed military supplies and provisions stored there and else where in the area, and also purchased provisions for the squadron from the locals.
