24 Feb 1809 Amelia and Dotterel in chase of a French frigate squadron, who on sighting Rear-admiral Stopford's squadron steered for the Sable d'Olonne where they came to anchor. Following a heavy bombardment the French ships were driven on shore and were subsequently wrecked.

7 Mar - Apr 1809 had arrived in Basque roads. 11 Apr the use of fire ships, explosion-vessels, and Congreve rockets against the French fleet at Basque roads and the results thereof.

Falmouth 25 Aug 1811 arrived.

Plymouth 30 Nov 1811 arrived from Lisbon having fallen in with the with Undaunted merchantman, of London, for St. Christopher's and supplied her with a quantity of shot, having expended her own in an action with a French privateer, a few leagues from the Edystone light-house, which she beat off after an action of one hour and twenty minutes, within half pistol-shot ; the Undaunted had one man severely wounded.

Plymouth 8 Jan 1812 Is appointed to take convoy to Lisbon, and will sail on Friday next, wind permitting.

Plymouth Dock 9 Jan 1812 Has made signal for convoy for Lisbon.

Plymouth 5 Oct 1812 Sent in a French schooner privateer of 14 guns, captured yesterday off Scilly.

1 Feb 1813, the Ramillies, in company with the Acasta, Martin and Dotterell, the latter having been chased into Bermuda 4 days earlier, spoke to the Nymphe ; 29 Feb, spoke to the Emulous.

Bermuda 7 Feb 1813 arrived from New Providence.

Bermuda 18 Feb 1813 arrived from a cruise.

14 Sep 1813, remained at the Chesapeake when a part of the squadron went to Halifax N.S.

Bermuda circa 9 Apr 1814 Remains.

1 Sep 1814 arrived Halifax, after a long passage from New Providence.

20 Mar 1815, reported to be at Bermuda.

St. Helena 22 Nov 1819 Remains.

27 Nov 1821 at Halifax.

24 Dec 1825 departed Falmouth for Halifax.

Halifax 6 Nov 1826 Remains.
