25 Aug 1892, Woolwich, the shallow-draft steamer Dove left Woolwich on board the steamship Borrowdale for the Zambesi, from whence she is to be taken to used on the upper reaches of the Shir�, to maintain communication between Lake Nyassa and Matope. She was built by Messrs. Yarrow and Co., of Poplar.
