8 Jun 1794 the escape of a British squadron, composed of the frigates Crescent, Druid, Captain Joseph Elliston, and Eurydice, while cruising off the island of Jersey, from a more powerful French squadron, of the two cut-down 74s, or ras�es, Sc�vola and Brutus, the two 36-gun frigates Dana� and F�licit�, and a 14-gun brig.

7 Jan 1797 captured the French transport Ville-de-Lorient, a part of the French fleet from Brest [Captain Richard King].

10 Mar 1800 Portsmouth, arrived the Druid, 32, Captain Apthorpe.

13-14 Mar 1800 Portsmouth, a Court Martial held on board the Gladiator, for the trial of Lieutenant John Cresselman, of the Druid, for having absented himself from the said ship without leave, at various times, and for drunkenness. The Court were of opinion, that the charges had been in part proved against the said Lieutenant Cresselman, and did therefore adjudge him to be dismissed from his Majesty's service, and rendered incapable of ever serving as a Commissioned Officer again.

29 Apr 1800 Portsmouth, arrived with the Regulus, Touterelle, Ceres, and Roebuck, from the Downs.

8 May 1800 Portsmouth, departed the Regulus, Europa, Roebuck, Druid, and Ceres, armed en flute, for the eastward, to fetch troops for the expedition.

2 Mar 1801 the landing troops from the squadron in Aboukir bay, where the French were already in a position.

18 Mar 1801 arrived Spithead from Ireland, with a frigate, her prize.

23 Dec 1801 arrived at the Motherbank anchorage, off Ryde, IoW, where ships from abroad, in this case from Malta and Egypt, for Portsmouth, were put in quarantine.

27 Dec 1801 despite comments to the contrary elsewhere it would appear that the Dolphin, Druid, Ceres, Minotaur, and Trusty, remain at the Motherbank, in quarantine.

Circa 26 Dec 1801 Captain Charles Ross, to the Druid, vice Apthorpe, indisposed.

30 Dec 1801 arrived Spithead from the Motherbank, the Dolphin, Winchelsea, and the Druid, armed en flute, and disembarked the 28th and 42nd Regts., who marched into barracks at Hilsea.

22 Jan 1801 now fitting to take troops on board for the West Indies, Capt Ross.

Circa 28 Jan 1802 embarked the 2nd batt of the 85th regt on board the Winchelsea and Druid, for Jamaica.

11 Feb 1802 departed Spithead, the Winchelsea, Capt Hatley, and the Druid, Capt Ross, both armed en flute, for Jamaica.

24 Sep 1802 arrived Spithead the Druid, armed en flute, with part of the 63d regiment on board from Jamaica.

27 Sep 1802 departed Spithead the Druid, armed en flute, Captain Cottrell, to the eastward, to be paid off.
