May 1803 Lieut J Sybrille apptd to the armed cutter Duchess of Cumberland.

19 Feb 1803 the Immortalite, in company with the Duchess of Cumberland, and Griffin cutter, attacked some gun boats between Cap Grisnez, and Boulogne. A severe fire was maintained by the shore batteries, but they didn't do any damage ; in return the Immortalite shot away the masts of one of the gun boats.

20 Sep 1803 arrived Dover, the revenue cutter Swallow, and the hired armed cutters Betsey, and Duchess of Cumberland to refit.

27 Nov 1803 remains in Dungeness Roads.
