24 Jul - 2 Sep 1803 Vanguard and Tartar chase and capture of the French 74 Duquesne, and the escape of the Duguay-Trouin, 74 and the 40-gun frigate Guerri�re. Duquesne was afterwards added to the British navy under her French name ; but being in the following year, carelessly run aground on Morant Keys, went to England only to be broken up.

16 Jun 1804 the Duquesne, Capt Walker, and the Bellerophon, Capt Loring, with the homeward bound West India convoy departed Jamaica.

10 Aug 1804 arrived Spithead from Jamaica.

18 Aug 1804 departed Spithead for the Eastwards to be paid off.
