27 Aug 1800 R.-Adm. Sir J.B. Warren, to Adm. the Earl of St.-Vincent, dated Renown, Bay of Playa de Dominos, advises that the squadron and convoy under his command arrived off this Bay on the 25th inst., without having fell in with any thing excepting the St. Vincent schooner, who had parted from Captain Curzon.

20 Dec 1800 departed Spithead on a cruise, the Earl St Vincent, 10, Lt Boys.

21 Dec 1800 departed Spithead with a convoy for the Downs.

20 Jan 1801 departed Plymouth Sound to unknown station with the King's proclamation for stopping all Russian, Danish, and Swedish vessels.

20 Feb 1801 sent into Plymouth Sound the Danish ship Twee Gebroeders, Koelen, laden with salt, the prize to the St Vincent, Lt H. Boyce.

2 Jun 1801 arrived Spithead, the Earl St Vincent, Lt Boyce, from the West Indies and came into Portsmouth harbour having sprung a leak.

8 Jul 1801 came into Plymouth Sound the Earl St Vincent, 14, Lt Boyce, after a long cruise, with La Cheri, a valuable French-brig, from Cayenne to Bourdeaux, with cocoa, coffee, dye-wood, &c.

21 Jul 1801 orders came down to Plymouth for the Earl St. Vincent, 14, Lt Boys / Boyce, to fit for foreign service.

22 Jul 1801 went into the Sound, and departed to the eastward with a convoy, the Earl St Vincent, 14, Lt Boys.

6 Aug 1801 captured the French Schooner L'Elise, in sight of HM Ship Diamond, Edward Griffith. The Earl St. Vincent, Lt Boys, and the Diamond will, therefore, probably be entitled to a share of prize monies resulting from the capture.

18 Aug 1801 arrived Falmouth a French schooner, laden with calm, detained and sent in by the Earl St Vincent, Lt Boyer.

24 Aug 1801 arrived Falmouth the Earl St. Vincent, Lt Boyce, from off Rochefort, with letters from Sir Edward Pellew, and advises that the Doris, Capt Brisbane joined the squadron with some fire-ships.

26 Aug 1801 came into Plymouth Sound the Earl St Vincent, with two rich Spanish prizes, captured off Cape Ortegal.

3 Nov 1801 Yesterday during the height of the gale, the Earl St. Vincent, of 18 guns, Lt H. Boyce / Boys, having parted both anchors and cables between the island and main under her bare poles, scudded through the Sound to the entrance of Catwater ; by skilful steering, the Earl St. Vincent ran through the two lines of trawl boats, kept the two pier heads open, and went amidst a tremendous sea into Sutton Pool, and brought too at half tide, on the mud, quite safe.

2 Feb 1802 prize money resulting from the capture of the Schooner L'Elise will be available for payment.
