N.B. I understand that all the changes took place in the region of the Indian Ocean.

23 Mar 1801 French privateer Gloire captured by Albatross in the Indian Ocean and taken into the Service and renamed Trincomalee.

Circa 24 Apr 1802 P. Heywood, Esq. Commander of the Trincomalee, to be Captain of the Trident, in the vacancy occasioned by Captain H.L. Ball's return to England upon his private concerns.

Circa 24 Apr 1802 T. Pulham, Esq Commander, and Governor of the Naval Hospital, to be Captain of the Trident, till joined by Captain P. Heywood ; then to command the Trincomalee.

Jan 1802 sold and became a merchant vessel.

1803 re-captured by the French and renamed Emilien following the collapse of the Peace of Amiens.

25 Sep 1806 captured by the Culloden and taken into the Service as Emilien.

1808 sold.
