Taken from the Dutch in the Firth of Forth, 6 Mar 1796 ; Notes:

1 Jan 1799 At Portsmouth.

13 Aug-Oct 1799 employed on expedition to Holland.

1 Dec 1799 Portsmouth, arrived from the Downs.

2 Mar 1801 landing seamen, artillery etc. from the squadron in Aboukir bay, where the French were already in a position. These vessels were anchored in a position where they could support the landings with their guns and mortars.

8 Mar 1801 of the personnel employed disembarking the army in Aboukir Bay 1 seaman was killed and two wounded.

Circa 26 Dec 1801 Captain Guion, of the Eurus, apptd to the Trusty

Circa 26 Dec 1801 Lieutenant M. Cowan, pro tempore, apptd to the Eurus.

28 Feb 1802 arrived Plymouth Sound from a cruise, the Eurus, 36, and Urania, 44.

18 Jun 1802 the Eurus and Niger departed Minorca with the 2nd battalion of the 17th Regt for Cork.

Circa 31 Jul 1802 arrived the Niger, Eurus, Thetis, Dover, and Blonde with the transports Harmony, Zephyrus, and William and Ann, having on board the 17th, 82nd, 35th, 23rd, 2nd, ot Queen's Regiments, off the Cape of Cork, from the Mediterranean.

21 Aug 1802 arrived Spithead the Eurus, armed en flute, Captain Cowen, with troops from Malta.

23 Aug 1802 came into Portsmouth harbour HM ships Eurus and Penelope, to be paid off.

17 Nov-30 Dec 1802 prize money resulting from the expedition to Holland due for payment.

1803 converted to storeship.

Circa 12 Sep 1803 Capt A Innes apptd to the Eurus, at present fitting at Portsmouth as guard ship at Cork.

3 Oct 1803 the Ganges, Capt Fremantle, has been ordered to Cork, along with the guard ship Eurus, Capt Innes, the latter having already been ordered out of harbour to Spithead.

12 Oct 1803 departed Spithead the Eurus, Capt Innes, for Cork.
