Falmouth, 1814
Type: 6th rate ; Armament 22
Launched : 1814 ; Disposal date or year : 1825
Notes:

27 Aug 1816 I can find no mention of this vessel at Algiers, but the Navy List includes this vessel amongst those who received battle honours on that day, so it is included, although I suspect it might be a printing error since she was reported to be on the Cape of Good Hope Station during this period, unless she was off the Coast of West Africa and transferred to the Mediterranean during the Algerian crisis !

Battle of Algiers. As a result of the Dey's reluctance to discuss the abolition of christian slavery ; the delivery of all christian slaves in the kingdom of Algiers; the repayment of all the money that had recently been exacted for the redemption of Neapolitan and Sardinian slaves ; peace with the king of the Netherlands ; and the immediate liberation of the British consul and the two boats' crews of the Prometheus.
