Feb 1797 capture of the Island of Trinidad, along with the San-Damaso, 74, and induced the destruction of 3 Spanish ships of the line and a frigate.

8 Dec 1798, captured a Genoese ship from Rio de Plate bound to the Havannah, laden with jerked beef, tallow, and hides, and carried her into Tobago.

19 Sep 1799 Portsmouth, arrived with a convoy from the West Indies.

2 Jan 1801 arrived Yarmouth from a cruise.

15 Jan 1801 captured the French privateer cutter Le Voyageur, 14 guns, and 47 men. She was discovered at nine A.M. close in shore off Flamborough-Head and gave chase, and eventually detained the vessel after a run of seven hours. She proves to be from Dunkirk, commanded by Egide Colbert, had been out four days from Ostend, having captured the Camilla, in ballast, belonging to Sunderland, the day before. Jos. Westbeach, one of a number of merchant vessels detained in recent weeks by French privateers on that coast.

12 Mar 1801 at half past 10 (a.m.) chased a lugger from under Scarborough, and continued so till ten p.m. when I lost sight of her ; I then saw a sail to windward, to which I also gave chase, and captured ; she proves to be L'Optimiste, 14, French schooner privateer, of Dunkirk (departed from thence 7 days), manned with 47 men, commanded by Jean Baptiste Corenwinder.

16 Mar 1801 the Favourite sloop, arrived N. Yarmouth with the frigate Alcmene, La Jalouse, brig and Trimmer, Fire Vessel ; and Meteor, Wrangler, Ready, Safeguard, and Pincher gun brigs. Arrived also, L'Optimiste French privateer, from Dunkirk, prize to the Favourite, Cdr John Westbeach.

29 Mar 1801 arrived Sheerness Friday evening, the Favourite, Capt Westbeach, with the remainder of the crew of the Invincible, from N. Yarmouth.

29 Mar 1801 departed Sheerness yesterday for N. Yarmouth.

17 Apr 1801 captured the French privateer Antichrist.

20 Apr 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth with a French lugger privateer, 14 guns, and 74 men, which had captured a bark belonging to Sunderland, retaken by the Favourite. The prisoners were landed this morning and escorted to prison by the Anglesea Militia.

17 Jun 1801 remain in the Roads at N. Yarmouth : the Griffin, cutter ; Favourite, sloop ; Nancy, fire vessel ; Victor, schooner.

19 Jun 1801 departed N. Yarmouth on a cruise.

2 Aug 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth the sloops Driver, and Favourite, and cutter Trial, from a cruise.

22 Nov 1801 remains in N. Yarmouth Roads with the Blenheim and fleet. Wind NNW.

20 Dec 1801 remains in N. Yarmouth Roads with the Blenheim, Adm. Dickson, and his squadron.

21 Dec 1801 departed N. Yarmouth Roads for Leith, with the brig Kite.

13 Jan 1802 arrived N. Yarmouth from a cruise.

8 Feb 1802 arrived N. Yarmouth from a cruise.

11 Feb 1802 departed N. Yarmouth for Sheerness.

14 Feb 1802 arrived Sheerness the Favourite, Capt Westbeach, from N. Yarmouth.

10 May 1802 the Iris and Favourite are ordered to convey the troops serving as marines on board the Guelderland, Ambuscade, Amphitrite, and Galathea, Dutch ships, to Lymngton, Hants, from which place they will embark for Holland. The sloops Ranger, Arrow, and Autumn are ordered to take the seamen belonging to the 4 Dutch ships above, to Embden.

16 May 1802 departed Sheerness the sloops Arrow, Favourite, Autumn, and Ranger, with the cutter Trial, with Dutch seamen for Lymington, from whence they will be sent home. The wind at the West blows hard.

31 May 1802 arrived Sheerness, the Favourite, Capt Wesbeach, from Embden.

17 Jun 1802 arrived Sheerness harbour to be paid off.

Circa 19 May 1804 Capt C Foote, apptd to the Favourite.

31 Jul 1804 in company with the Melpomene, Trusty, Ariadne, Magnanime, Pluto, Meteor, Merlin, Hecla, and Zebra, Locust Brig, and Nancy and King George Cutters captured the Postilion.

31 Oct 1804 departed Spithead for off Havre.

12 Dec 1804 captured the French privateer Raecrocheuse on the Home station.
