Plymouth 22 Oct 1785 Reported to be at Jamaica, having ridden out a recent storm.

June 1793 captured the French privateer R�publique Francoise in the Channel.

June 1793 captured the French privateer Phoenix.

23 Apr 1794, A squadron of frigates under Commodore Sir John Borlase Warren, bart., engages a French squadron of 4 frigates off the Channel Isles, capturing 3, which were added to the Navy List : the Babet, as a sloop, the Engageante, as a hospital-ship, and the Pomone as a cruising 40-gun frigate.

7 Aug 1794 Captain Sir J B Warren, K. B., Flora, with the frigates Arethusa, Diamond, Artois, Diana, and Santa-Margarita, put to sea from Falmouth in search of cruising French frigates.

On the 23d Aug 1794, the Flora and Arethusa, off the Pointe du Raz, chased the Alert and Espion, both recently captured from the British, into the bay of Audierne, where they were run aground under cover of shore batteries, which were engaged until the masts of the latter went by the board. Although it would appear from subsequent events that the latter, if not both vessels, were recovered and refitted.

2 Jan 1795, following rumours that the Brest fleet had departed, the frigates Flora, Captain Sir John Borlase Warren, Arethusa, and Diamond, were despatched from Falmouth to ascertain the truth. The Diamond entered the port of Brest at about 1400 on the 3rd, and departed the following morning having confirmed that the French fleet had departed, along with other intelligence.

27 Dec 1795 Captain Troubridge's squadron, including the Flora, when off Cape Matapan, chased the Badine, a part of M. Ganteaume's squadron. The Badine anchored close off the town; and on the next day the Lowestoffe anchored alongside of her. On the 31st of December Commodore Troubridge, with the remainder of his squadron, anchored in the harbour of Milo, and subsequently steered for Smyrna.

14 May 1796 captured the French privateer Epervier.

13 Apr 1797 Flora and Pearl captured the French privateer Incroyable on the passage between Lisbon and England.

13 May 1798 the ship's boats capture the French Venetian-built brig-corvette Mondovi out of the port of Cerigo

1 Aug 1798, recaptured the Portuguese brig Nostra Senora de Monte, of 12 men, belonging to Madeira, bound from Madeira to St Michael laden with bale goods, prize to L'Abeille French privateer, off Palma, and sent to Madeira. Naval Chronicle p. 76 Vol. 1, 1799.

3 Aug 1798 was joined by the Flora and proceeded off Santa-Cruz to exchange prisoners.

4 Sep 1798 off Teneriffe, captured the Spanish packet Grimaldi, of 2 guns, and 28 men, belonging to Corunna, bound from Corunna to the Havannah, laden with wine, &c. and sent to Madeira. Naval Chronicle p. 76 Vol. 1, 1799.

30 Sep 1798 captured Spanish ship La Carlota, of 19 men, belonging to Teneriffe, bound from the River de Plata to Tenerife, laden with leather and tallow, off Teneriffe, and sent to Madeira. Naval Chronicle p. 76 Vol. 1, 1799.

4 Oct 1798 captured Flora and Caroline the French privateer President Parker off the Salvages, on the Lisbon station.

20 Oct 1798 Flora and Caroline captured the French privateer Baret off Teneriffe.

15 Jan 1799 the Prussian Sloop Drie Vrienden, of Embden, of 5 Men and 60 tons, from Lisbon bound to Embden, laden with sugar, cotton, and fruit, captured by the French privateer Shark 3 Jan., and recaptured by the Flora in Lat. 45 Deg. 56 Min. N. Long. 8 Deg. 32 Min. W., and sent to England ; 5 prisoners exchanged at Lisbon.

16 Jan 1799 the English Brig Nymph, of Liverpool, of 9 men and 142 tons, from Demerary bound to Liverpool, laden with coffee, sugar, cotton, and rum, captured by the French Privateer L'Intrepide Jan. 1799 recaptured in Lat. 45 Deg. 51 Min. N. Long. 6 Deg. 50 Min. W. and sent to England.

17 Jan 1799 the American Ship Six Sisters, 9 Men and 215 Tons, from Wifcaffett, Massachusetts, bound to Liverpool, laden with staves, spars, &c. captured by the French Privateer L'Intrepide 4 Jan., was recaptured by the Flora in Lat. 45 Deg. 16 Min. N. Long. 7 Deg. 5 Min.W., and sent to Lisbon.

26 Jan 1799 Flora, in Lat. 46 Deg. 7 Min. N. Long. 8 Deg W., after a Chace of 8 Hours, captured L�Intrepide French privateer, of 20 brass guns, (18 of which he hove overboard during the Chace,) and 160 men, out 48 days from Bourdeaux, commanded by Citizen Jean Baptiste Cherchy. The Caroline has been sent in chace of a vessel in the S.W. which is understand to be the Jane of Liverpool, a letter of marque, which engaged the privateer for 40 minutes. When the privateer struck, the sea was running so high that it was with the utmost exertions of Lieutenants Russell and Brown that I was enabled to take possession of her, happily without the loss of the people, as the launch and jolly boat went down in the act of boarding her ; and I have this morning been enabled to exchange the prisoners. It is her first cruise, is coppered, and in light winds sails uncommonly fast : nothing but a gale would have enabled me to come up with her. i directed all my prizes to proceed to Lisbon, but fear from the strong gales we have had at S.W. they have been forced to bear up for the Channel.

15 Feb 1799 captured the French Brig Privateer L'Aventure, of Bourdeaux, of 14 Guns, 105 Men, and 180 tons, bound from Bourdeaux on a cruise, in Lat. 42 Deg. 21 Min. N. Long. 13 Deg. 39 Min. W.

27 Feb 1799 recaptured off Vigo the English brig Chateau Margo, of Limerick, 2 guns, 6 men, and 130 tons, bound from Oporto to Limerick, with wine and fruit, captured the day before by two Spanish row-boats.

27 Feb 1799 captured the Spanish lugger privateer Nostra del Carmen alias Diligente, belonging to Bayonne, of 2 Guns, 21 Men, and 15 tons, bound from Bayonne on a cruise, after a chase of 3 hours.

16 Apr 1799 captured the French Ship L'Aurore, of Bourdeaux, of 8 Guns, 32 Men, and 160 tons, from St. Domingo for Bourdeaux, with coffee and indigo, in Lat. 45 Deg. N. Long. 14 Deg. 39 Min. W.

26 Apr 1799 recaptured the English snow Penelope, 4 guns, 9 men, and 124 tons, from Falmouth, bound to Lisbon, with hemp, captured by the French Privateer L'Espion off Brest, in Lat. 39 Deg. 53 Min. N. Long. 12 Deg. 57 Min. W.

28 Apr 1799 captured the French privateer Legere of Bayonne, 14 guns, and 60 men, (4 guns hove overboard in the chase), commanded by Citizen Malleux.

17 Jun 1799 recaptured the English polacre ship Nelson, of London, of 12 guns and 140 tons, from Sicily to London, with sulphur, captured by Le Determine and Le Grand Decide.

24 Jun 1799 recaptured the English ship Fancy, of London, of 14 guns and 250 tons, from Leghorn to London, with oil, wine, silks, captured by Le Determine and Le Grand Decide about 17 Jun., in Lat. 43 deg. 54 Min. N. Long. 11 Deg. 24 Min. W.

Circa 26 Jun 1799 with the Alcmene reported to be cruizing off the coast of Portugal.

2 Jul 1799 captured the French brig Le Hazard, of 2 guns, 50 men, and 150 tons, from St. Domingo bound to Bourdeaux, with sugar and coffee, in Lat. 43 Deg. 14 Min. N. Long. 11 Deg. 25 Min. W.

25 Jul 1799 captured the French privateer Rhuiter, commanded by Citizen Bablot, mounting 12 brass guns and 2 carronades, with 104 men, in Lat. 43 Deg. 49 Min. N. Long. 10. Deg. 47 Min. W.

20 Mar 1800 captured, after an 8 hour chase, the Spanish privateer ship Corunesa, 16 guns, 90 men, commanded by Robert Tortan, off Cape Finisterre, which had previously taken the William, brig, of Jersey, with salt and a Swedish brig, with fish, etc.

2 Apr 1800 captured off the Spanish coast the English Brig Bernith, laden with Cotton, Oil, &c.

9 Apr 1800 Vigo bearing E. by S., 30 leagues, discovered a schooner boarding two brigs and after a chase of 5 hours captured the Spanish privateer San Antonio y Animes, alias Aurora, of Vigo, 10 guns, 55 men.

30 May 1800 Plymouth, departed to join a convoy.

22 Jun 1800 fell in with and captured the Spanish ship packet Cortes, Don Joseph Suaros Quiros, 14, but only 4 guns mounted, and 44 men, from Rio de la Plata, 98 days, bound to Corunna, with a cargo of cocoa, hides and tallow &c., and some specie, having thrown her mail overboard upon our hailing her. She is of such value that I thought it necessary to see her safe off the bar of Lisbon.

16 Nov 1800 captured off the Spanish coast the Spanish Polacre Ship Santa Christiana del Gras, laden with Sugar, Cotton, &c. from Vera Cruz, bound to Cadiz.

14 Dec 1800 whilst cruising the Concorde spoke to HM ships Flora and Constance, with a convoy from Lisbon to Gibraltar and Malta.

8 Mar to 2 Sep 1801 off the coast of Egypt.

13 Jan 1801 went into Plymouth Sound, having repaired her damages she received when going ashore in Hamoaze.

19 Feb 1801 the Spanish schooner Rosa, from Barcelona bound to Alexandria ; taken by the Flora.

8 Mar 1801 of the personnel employed disembarking the army in Aboukir Bay two seaman were killed and two were wounded.

24 Mar 1801 arrived Plymouth Sound.

26 Mar 1801 departed Plymouth Sound for her station, from Mounts Bay to the Land's End.

4 May 1801 arrived Falmouth the packet Earl Gower, which the Flora had accompanied for a part of her passage, as far as Land's End.

14 May 1801 arrived Spithead with dispatches from Lord Keith.

19 May 1801 Adm. Holloway transferred his flag from the Active to the Flora in Portsmouth harbour.

16 Jun 1801 departed Spithead to lie as a guard-ship at the Needles.

30 Jan 1802 came into Portsmouth harbour the Flora, armed in flute, from the Needles, more lately from S. Yarmouth Roads.

31 Mar 1802 is ordered to be paid off.

Circa 29 Sep 1804 is ordered to fit for commission.

4 Aug 1806 arrived Spithead from the Downs.

25 Nov 1806 captured the Spanish privateer El Espedarte, 6 guns, 41 men, on the Mediterranean Station.
