5 Jul 1803 with France attempting to recover her war-time losses in the East Indies news that a renewal of the war was imminent brought about a number of manoeuvres and events between the French and British ships-of-war on the station.

May 1805 East Indies, Captain James G. Vashon

3 Sep 1807 captured the Dutch vessel Maria Wilhelmina ; on the 20 Sep 1807 the Goode Hoope and brig, name unknown ; and on 5 Oct 1807 4 paddawakkons or gun-boats. Head-money granted will be paid 2 Apr 1830 (sic).

20 Nov-11 Dec 1807 A part of a squadron under R.-adm Sir E. Pellew which entered Gressie, Dutch EI, to destroy vessels and stores.

Fox 23 Mar 1809 captured the French privateer Carravanne on the East Indies station.

17 Sep 1811 whilst returning from the East Indies stopped and spoke to the packet Swallow at Lat 38:58. Long 34:19, which had recently been boarded by La Clorinde on her return to France, and stripped of all provisions and stores etc.

Portsmouth 1 Jan 1813 arrived with part of a Royal Marine battalion on board, from the north coast of Spain.

Plymouth 12 Jan 1813 arrived from Portsmouth with marines on board.

Plymouth 19 Jan 1813 departed for Portsmouth.

11-13 Jul 1813 a part of a squadron bringing troops to take Ocracoke, on the North-Carolina coast, during which the Atlas and the Anaconda, both letters of marque, were captured and subsequently taken into the Service, the Anaconda, by her own name, and the Atlas, by the name of St.-Lawrence.

14 Sep 1813, Fox, Capt. the late D. Patterson, died on passage hence, arrived Halifax, with the squadron from the Chesapeake.

15 Sep 1813, Captain Patterson's body was landed and he was buried with all honours due to his rank, including minute guns.

1-2 Oct 1813 the Nemesis departed with the Fox, and Success, from Halifax, for Quebec, with the 2nd Battalion of Royal Marines.

16 Nov 1813, arrived Halifax, the Diomede, Fox and transport Mariner, 16 days from Quebec.

28 Jan 1814, at Bermuda.

Portsmouth 2 Aug 1814 arrived from Bordeaux.

Portsmouth 15 Sep 1814 went out of harbour.

Portsmouth 14 Sep 1814 Has been refitted, and is ready for sea.

Portsmouth 16 Sep 1814 departed for Plymouth.
