Notes:

10 April 1795 being a part of a squadron under Rear-admiral John Colpoys, while cruising in the western approaches, the Astr�a, Captain Lord Henry Paulet, captured the French 36-gun frigate Gloire. The Gloire was purchased into the British navy as a 12-pounder 36, but, being old and nearly worn out, she did not long continue as a cruising ship.
