Notes:

13 Jan 1798 captured the French privateer Henri on the Lisbon station.

1 Jan 1799 Capt. R. Williams. At the Nore.

29 Jan 1799 arrived Spithead, with the Renown, from the Downs, with a convoy of outward bound merchant ships.

3 Mar 1799 Portsmouth, departed the Mediterranean convoy, under the escort of the Thames and Hyaena frigates, with the Gorgon and Serapis armed 44 gun store-ships ; General Cuyler and his suite went in the former frigate, and General Tarleton in the latter.

13 Oct 1800 arrived Spithead the Harpy, Resolution, Gorgon, and Alkmaar, from the Downs.

1 Dec 1800 departed Spithead the Endymion, Loire, and Gorgon (store-ship), for St. Helen�s.

8 Mar to 2 Sep 1801 services off the coast of Egypt.

16 May 1801 arrived Spithead the Gorgon Store-ship, Captain Ross, from Jamaica. Lady Horatio Seymour came home passenger in her from Jamaica.

7 Jun 1801 departed Spithead with the Good Design, armed ship, for Cork, to take troops on board for Egypt.

16 Jun 1801 departed Cork, with the Good Design, for Egypt, with the 22nd Regt of Light Dragoons.

6 Dec 1801 the Gorgon and the Astrea, with 4 troop transports, arrived in the Solent, from Malta and Egypt, and were put in quarantine at the Motherbank anchorage, off Ryde, IoW.

14 Dec 1801 all vessels arrived from Egypt are released from quarantine, and troops will be allowed to land tomorrow.

16 Feb 1802 departed Spithead the Gorgon, for the eastward, to be paid off.

19 Feb 1802 arrived Sheerness, from the Downs, to be paid off.

11 Jul 1803 has arrived Sheerness.

1 Dec 1803 arrived Spithead, the Gorgon store ship, Capt Wilkinson, from Leith.

3 Dec 1803 departed Spithead, for Cork.

5 Feb 1811 it was reported at Plymouth to have been sighted off Cape Finisterre.

9 Jun 1811 departed Spithead for Cronstadt with Russian prisoners.

21 Nov 1811 arrived Plymouth Sound from Portsmouth.

23 Nov 1811 went up into Plymouth harbour to be refitted.

17 Aug 1814 arrived Plymouth Sound from the Mediterranean.

17 Sep 1814 has embarked troops and reportedly departs Plymouth for America tomorrow.

18 Sep 1814 departed Plymouth with a squadron with troops for Bermuda.

14 Dec 1814 distribution of head-money arising from the capture of American gun-boats and sundry bales of cotton, [per London Gazette of 26 Jun 1821].

17 May 1815 Came into Portsmouth harbour.
