8 May 1800 departed Spithead the Grappler and Ant schooner, on a cruise.

23 May 1800 arrived Spithead with the Topaze, from a cruise.

23 Jun 1800 departed Spithead for Marcou (off Cape la Hogue).

20 Jan 1801 departed with the Leda and Force for a cruise on the French coast.

18 Apr 1801 arrived Plymouth Sound.

20 Apr 1801 arrived Spithead with a convoy from Plymouth.

13 May 1801 departed Spithead for Jersey.

26 Feb 1802 arrived Plymouth Sound the Grappler gun brig, and went up into the harbour and was paid off ; her crew being discharged into the Resolue slop ship, in Hamoaze, as supernumeraries. It is also suggested that she'll be sold, but judging by the next item, did not seem a good idea at the time!

Circa 27 Jun 1803 Lt Thomas apptd to the Grappler.

23 Aug 1803 fitting in Hamoaze and will soon be ready for sea.

12 Nov 1803 departed Plymouth Sound to the Eastward.

23 Nov 1803 arrived Spithead the Assault and Grappler, gun brigs, the former having been obliged to run into harbour as a result of the damage she received in the late gales.
