3 May 1799 Scorpion, Charles Tinling, and hired vessels Jane, Lieutenant James H. Tait, and Griffin, James Olifent, captured the Calypso, M. T. Schultz, Master.

14 May 1799 when in company with other vessels captured the Resolution.
