15 Dec 1800 Yarmouth Roads, following depredations to shipping by a French privateer off Scarborough, the Shannon, Bittern, lugger Phoenix and cutter Drake were sent on a cruize in order to provide protection to the homeward-bound Baltic convoys, along with the Inspector sloop, and Hazard and Diligence cutters.

Circa 12 Mar 1801 fleet under Admiral Sir Hyde Parker and Lord Nelson, consisting of 17 ships of the line, 3 frigates, 10 gun-brigs, nearly as many bomb-ketches, with smaller vessels usually attendant on a fleet, making in the whole nearly 50 sail, got under weigh from Yarmouth Roads at the break of day, and by eight o'clock had cleared the Sands ; they directed their course to the northward, wafted by a fine breeze at S.W. as departed from Yarmouth roads for Copenhagen (Naval Chronicle). On arrival at Copenhagen supported the ships-of-the-line as required.

12 Mar 1801 ordered to take mails to the fleet in place of the Hazard cutter.

15 Jun 1801 Adm Dickson's squadron arrived N. Yarmouth from a cruise off the Coast of Holland with the Blenheim, flag ship ; Brunswick, Princess of Orange, Leyden, Standard, Assistance ; Ranger sloop ; Jalouse, brig ; Phoenix and Speculator, Luggers ; and Hazard, Liberty and Diligent, cutters.

25 Jun 1801 departed N. Yarmouth to join Adm Dickson's squadron, now cruising off Goree.

29 Jun 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth from Adm. Dickson's squadron, off Goree. Wind SE light breezes and cloudy.

7 Jul 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth yesterday afternoon from Adm Dickson's fleet, off Goree.

10 Jul 1801 departed N. Yarmouth to Adm Dickson's squadron, cruising off the coast of Holland.

12 Jul 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth from Adm Dickson's squadron, cruising off the coast of Holland.

14 Jul 1801 departed N. Yarmouth to Adm Dickson's squadron, cruising off Goree.
