Portsmouth 16 Apr 1836 Pantaloon arrived Thursday from Cork with 26 volunteers for the various ships commissioning, 19 of whom, for the Hercules, will be sent round to Chatham in the Emerald.

Portsmouth 30 Apr 1836 the Messenger has arrived from Milford and other ports with 150 volunteer seamen for the Asia, Hercules and packet Swift.

Portsmouth 18 Jun 1836 has been carrying out exercises in the Channel and has returned to Sheerness to pay her crew in advance, following which she is expected at Spithead.

Portsmouth 9 Jul 1836 is expected to go down to St Helen's Road in the next day or so, once she has resolved some minor defects.

Portsmouth 23 Jul 1836 the Hercules, Bellerophon, Vanguard, Pembroke, and Cornwallis have departed on a cruise, during which they are expected to touch at Plymouth Sound.

Plymouth 6 Oct 1836 departed for Lisbon yesterday.

2 Nov 1836 reported to be at Cadiz.

Portsmouth 7 Jan 1837 is expected in the next few days from Lisbon.

Sheerness 25 Mar 1837 is reported to be nearly ready for sea, it is rumoured, for the Mediterranean station.

Portsmouth 2 Jun 1837 at Spithead, and is shortly expected to sail for Plymouth.

Corunna 2 Jul 1837 reported to be waiting to sail on a cruise.

9 Feb 1839 was reported to have been due to depart Plymouth Wednesday last for Barbadoes, Jamaica, and Halifax.

7 Jun 1839 Plymouth arrived from the West Indies and is refitting in the Sound, and is ordered to be ready for sea this day week.

26 Oct 1839 Portsmouth arrived from Lisbon on Wednesday, departed this morning, with the Lucifer steamer in company, to be paid off at Sheerness.

2 Nov 1839 Portsmouth left Spithead on Saturday last, for Chatham, to be paid off, was obliged to return yesterday afternoon, not having been able to get the length of the South Foreland. She remains for a fair wind to proceed. The Lucifer departed for Woolwich, in charge of an officer and a party of men from the Hercules, but parted from that ship owing to her machinery suddenly becoming defective.

27 Dec 1852 It is reported in Sydney that this vessel will be fitted out to bring out emigrants from the Isle of Skye, and to take back to England a cargo of timber for the Admiralty. Commander Baynton has been appointed to her.

1 Aug 1853 arrived Melbourne, from Adelaide with 183 passengers

12 Aug 1853 Departed Melbourne for Hong Kong calling at Sydney to be refitted.

16 Aug 1853 arrived Sydney.

28 Aug 1853 Leaves Sydney for Hongkong.
