4 Sep 1841 1 Sep 1841 Woolwich, has been commissioned by Lieutenant Thomas D. Stewart.

10 Sep 1841 Woolwich, Clerk H. Bateman has been appointed clerk in charge of the Heroine (his appointment to the Rhadamanthus having been cancelled.)

5 May 1842 departed Princes Island for the Sierra Leone station.

Per a report made to Parliament in 1842, at some time during 1842 the Brig Heroine, 10 guns, Complement: 70, was involved in combatting the Slave Trade.

Date not known detained the vessel Marie Louise, which was possibly restored to her master?

14 Sep 1843 detained in Lat. 9� 2' S. Long. 13� 54' W., off Cape Palmerinhas, the Brazilian slave brigantine Conceicao Flora, Joaquim Severianno Delgado, master, which was sent for adjudication to the British and Brazilian Court of Mixed Commission, Sierra Leone, and on 18 Nov 1843 sentenced to be restored to her Master.

12 Nov 1843 detained in lat. 8� 12' S., long. 12� 20' E., the Brazilian slave brigantine Imperatrix, Joz� Maria Pereira, master, which was sent for adjudication to the British and Brazilian Court of Mixed Commission, Sierra Leone, and on 10 Jan 1844 sentenced to be condemned.

24 Feb 1844 detained in Lat. 8� 26' S., long. 11� 56' E., off the mouth of the River Dande, and being in a sinking state was brought in to the harbour at Loanda, the Portuguese slave brig Cuatro de Setembro, late Anna of Oporto, J. J. Lopes, master, was sent for adjudication to the British and Portuguese Court of Mixed Commission, St. Paul de Loanda, and on 15 Apr 1844 sentenced to be condemned. 18 May 1847 the proceeds arising due for payment.

21 Mar 1844 detained in Lat. 6� 23' S., long. 12� 57' E., off the mouth of the River Dande, a slave schooner, Name Unknown, which was sent for adjudication to the British and Portuguese Court of Mixed Commission, St. Paul de Loanda, and on 2 Apr 1844 sentenced to be condemned. 18 May 1847 the proceeds arising due for payment.

23 Feb 1845 detained in lat. 5� 38' S. long 11� 51' E., off Cabenda, the Brazilian slave vessel Atala / Attala, 153 tons, Moreira, Master, condemned at the Mixed British and Brazilian Court at Sierra Leone on 14 Apr 1845. The Atala is said to have been originally the American brig Glencliffe. After condemnation she was purchased at auction by a Brazilian named M. D. Lopes ; and on the 22nd of October she was again captured off Badagry, under the Brazilian flag and the name of Regenerado and sent into Sierra Leone for trial in the Vice-Admiralty Court under the Act 8 and 9 Victoria, cap. 18 May 1847 the proceeds arising due for payment.

May 1845 is reported to have returned to England.

31 Dec 1845 Back on the Coast of West Africa. arrived at Gallinas and passed her returns and supernumeraries to the Hecate before proceeding to her own station.

30 Jan 1846 detained in lat. 7� 33' N., long. 12� 37' W., the Brazilian slave vessel Sierra Leone Packet, 52 tons, Jos� Francisco Alves, Master and Owner, condemned at the Vice-Admiralty Court at Sierra Leone on 3 Mar 1846. Formerly the condemned Brazilian slaver "Rafael," purchased at Sierra Leone and taken to Rio de Janeiro, where she was refitted and re-employed in the Slave Trade. 29 Jul 1847 the proceeds arising due for payment.

15 Aug 1846 the Heroine's Pinnace, in company with the Kingfisher, detained in lat. 7� 15' S., long. 12� 38' E., the Brazilian slave schooner Maria, Oridio dos Santos, master, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena and on 23 Sep 1846 sentenced to be condemned. 18 Nov 1848 Tonnage Bounty, and Net Proceeds of Hull, &c. due for payment.

7 May 1847-48 officers and crew paid �24 7s. 9d., in respect of expenses for attending the seizure of the Sierra Leone Packet, at St. Helena.

31 Aug 1847 ordered to cruise 30 miles, from 7� to 8� S. L.

20 Nov 1847 detained the slave vessel Luisa / Luiza, with 650 slaves on board which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena, and sentenced to be condemned. 20 June 1849 the proceeds arising due for payment.

1 Oct 1847 the Heroine and Styx detained the slave vessel Aventureiro, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena and sentenced to be condemned. 29 May 1849 the proceeds arising due for payment.

24 Mar 1848 detained the slave vessel Venus, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena, and sentenced to be condemned. 17 Oct 1849 the proceeds arising due for payment.

28 Mar 1848 detained the Brazilian slave brig Sephiro / Zef�ro / Zephiro, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena, and sentenced to be condemned. 19 Dec 1849 the proceeds arising due for payment.

7 Apr 1848 Captured slaver Mercurio : 26 Dec 1849 the proceeds arising due for payment.

5 May 1848 detained the slave vessel Maria Candida, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena, and sentenced to be condemned. 26 Feb 1850 the proceeds arising due for payment.

23 May 1848 detained a slave schooner, Name Unknown, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena and sentenced to be condemned. 26 Feb 1850 the proceeds arising due for payment.

20 Jun 1848 detained the slave vessel Marianna, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena and sentenced to be condemned. 26 Feb 1850 the proceeds arising due for payment.

18 Apr 1858 detained in Lat. 4� 15' S., long. 10� 40' E., off Black Point, the slave barque Minnetonka, Jno. Bardon, master, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at Sierra Leone, and on 10 May 1858 sentenced to be forfeited.

2 Jul 1858 detained in Lat. 4� 43' S., long. 10� 48' E., off Kilongo, the slave barque Governor Parris, Charles F. Musans, master, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena and on 19 Aug 1858 sentenced to be forfeited.

11 Jul 1858 detained off Black point, near Loango, a slave brigantine, Name Unknown, supposed Mary Elizabeth, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena and on 2 Aug 1858 sentenced to be forfeited.

9 Apr 1859 detained in Lat. 103� 4' S., long. 8� 36' W., when on passage from Sierra Leone to Ascension, the slave barque, Name Unknown, supposed Lorencita, L. A. Thomazine, master, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at Sierra Leone, and on 13 May 1859 sentenced to be forfeited.
