Holstein, 64, captured April 2 by Admiral Parker's fleet at the Battle of Copenhagen.

By the 12 Apr 1801 the Holstein, Monarch, and Isis, had departed for England with the wounded. The Monarch and Isis were reported to be in such a poor condition they weren't fit to remain with the Fleet and were ordered back to England with the Holstein which was carrying the wounded.

William James writes "Holstein and Zealand are the only vessels of the 13 taken, sunk, and destroyed off Copenhagen, that can be considered as ships of war : the remainder were mere floating batteries."

30 Apr 1801 departed N. Yarmouth the Holstein hospital ship for the Nore.

7 May 1801 came into Sheerness harbour from Great Nore, the Holstein, Capt Wilkinson, Danish prize.

10 Jul 1801 is to be paid off in a few days.

11 Feb 1802 whilst in ordinary at Sheerness, it is reported that water pirates recently stole a stream cable of 100 fathoms.
