19 Jan 1812 arrived Portsmouth from Jamaica.

Aug 1813 Bellerophon and Hyperion in the banks of Newfoundland.

20 Dec 1813 sent in to Plymouth the brig Brilliant, of Liverpool, picked up at sea.

20 Dec 1813 arrived Plymouth from St. John's, Newfoundland (10 Nov), the ships of the convoy having dispersed to their various ports.

21 Dec 1813 arrived Portsmouth from Quebec.

28 Mar 1814 departs Portsmouth tomorrow with a convoy for the river Garonne, with troops.

31 Mar 1814 remains with her convoy in Cowes Roads, wind bound.

4 Apr 1814 departed with militia to join Lord Wellington.

18 May 1814 departed Portsmouth with specie on board, for Bordeaux.

3 Jun 1814 captured a U.S. privateer, the 16 gun brig Rattlesnake.

27 Aug 1814 departed Plymouth on a cruise.

19 Dec 1814 arrived Plymouth from a cruise.

6 Feb 1815 departed Plymouth on a cruise.

31 Aug 1815 To be paid off into ordinary at Portsmouth.

24 Oct 1819 arrived Rio de Janeiro from Plymouth.

12 Aug 1820 at Valparaiso.

12 Sep 1821 is shortly due to sail from Plymouth Sound for the Cape, via Madeira.

11 Oct 1820 the Admiralty announced that the commanding officers of the following vessels now cruising on the South America Station, ie the Owen Glendower, Hyperion, Creole, Conway, Slaney, and Alacrity, have been supplied with their instructions, should the right circumstances arise, authorising them to detain Portuguese or Spanish vessels in accordance with the several Treaties with foreign powers for preventing the Illegal Traffic in slaves with those countries.

30 Nov 1821 is reported to have arrived at the Cape of Good Hope from England, en route for the East Indies, with the new Governor, Lord Charles Somerset, the late acting Governor, Gen. Sir R. Donkin is returning in the transport Intrepid, with the 72nd Regt. It is reported that the Hyperion will remain in command on the station until the arrival of Commodore Nourse and the Andromache, when the Hyperion will continue her passage to India. The following vessels were reported to be under her command at this time : Menai, Heron, and Cygnet.

28 Dec 1822 The crew of the schooner General Montillo, brought to Kingston, Jamaica a few weeks ago by the Hyperion, have been committed to gaol on a charge of piracy.

20 Apr 1823 at Cuba.

Mar 1825 Coast Blockade at Newhaven, Sussex.

24 May 1828 the rewards received for the various seizures made by the Hyperion whilst supervising the Coast Blockade between the 1 Jan and 31 Dec 1827, due to be paid on board the Hyperion, on 2 Jun next, and on board HM cutter Wolf, in Portsmouth harbour, on the 12th of June.

5 July 1828 Coast Blockade (Western) service, at Newhaven.

26 Oct 1830 Crew assist the Talbot steam-packet into harbour from off the bar at Newhaven.

26 Jan 1831 The coast blockade is to be abolished and the ships manning the stations at the Downs and at Newhaven are to be paid off.

Mar 1831 the Coast Blockade terminated.

12 May 1831 arrived Portsmouth, the Hyperion, 42, late Sussex Coast Guard, Capt. Mingaye, from Newhaven, in tow of the Confiance and Columbia steam-vessels, to be paid off.

18 May 1831 the rewards received for the various seizures made by the Hyperion whilst supervising the Coast Blockade between the 1 Jan and 31 Dec 1830, due to be paid on board the Hyperion, on 24 inst.

24 May 1831 prize money due to be paid as a result of the captures made between 1 Jan and 31 Dec 1830.

25 May 1831 has been paid off, and laid up in ordinary at Portsmouth, Capt. Mingaye.

15 Jun 1832 the rewards received for the various seizures of boats, foreign spirits, and sundry small parcels of tea, made by the officers and company of His Majesty's ship Hyperion, and those employed on the Sussex coast between the 1 Jan and 22 Mar 1831, will be delivered into the Registry of the High Court of Admiralty, on the 29 inst.
