Isabella, 1836
Type: Hired schooner ;
Notes:
Murray's Island 26 Jun 1836 in search of the crew of the Charles Eaton, which foundered on the Barrier Reef, and are reported to have been killed by the natives, barring 2 survivors which have been rescued from local natives of a less beligerent nature. [I assume that this vessel, the isabella, was hired for the purpose of the search. Her commander was one Charles M Lewis.]
