9 Feb 1839 the loss of the Revenue Cruiser Diligence, on the coast of Ireland, during the recent gale is confirmed. The Kite has found several articles belonging to the Diligence

15 Jun 1839 Portsmouth departed on Monday for Plymouth.

6 Jul 1840 at Barbadoes.

16 Jul 1840 at Grenada.

13 Mar 1841 departed Barbadoes for Antigua and England.

23 Mar 1841 departed Antigua for England.

20 Apr 1841 Plymouth, arrived from Antigua.

23 Apr 1841 Spithead, arrived from the West Indies, where for two years she has been carrying the mails from island to island. She experienced bad weather during the first 2 weeks of her passage home. She brought several men from the Stag frigate at Plymouth, for the Indus.

24 Apr 1841 Spithead, departed for Woolwich, to be paid off.

4 May 1841 Woolwich was paid off.

29 Oct 1841 Woolwich in harbour.

19 Feb 1842 had been commissioned at Woolwich.

26 Mar 1842 at Woolwich, and reported ready, has been towed down River and awaits orders.

20 Apr 1842 departed Plymouth for the Coast of Africa.

22 Apr 1842 departed Lisbon for the West Coast of Africa.

22 Aug 1842 arrived at Lisbon from the mouth of the River Niger where they arrived on 30 June to pick up the officers and men from the Nile Expedition.

3 Sep 1842 is reported at Portsmouth to have arrived Plymouth from Lisbon.

6 Oct 1842 in Hamoaze.

27 Oct 1842 departed Plymouth for the West Coast of Africa.

28 Oct 1842 departed Plymouth for Sierra Leone, touching at Cape Verds and Goree, taking with her officers and men for the squadron of the Coast of West Africa..

3 May 1843 detained a slave vessel, Name Unknown, which was sent for adjudication to a Vice-Admiralty Court, place not known, and on 12 Jul 1843 sentenced to be condemned.

9 Jul 1845/46 paid to the officers and crew �41 13s. 8d. for expenses incurred in the adjudication of an unnamed brig at Sierra Leone.
