Lord Duncan 14 Mar 1799 Plymouth, departed Lord Duncan lugger, and Joseph cutter, to the eastward.

31 Oct 1800 prize money resulting from the capture of the Julie and Recompens�e fishing vessels, and salvage money for the recaptured vessels Triton and Search and the sloop Johnstone, due for payment on board at Deal. Lieutenant William Wells, Commanding officer.

20 Dec 1800 the commanding officer, Lt. W. Wells, now at the Downs, writes to the Flag Officer at the Downs, V.-Adm. Lutwidge that having seen his convoy safely into St. Helen's returned to England, and that on the 18th, when off Shoreham in a thick fog, fell in with and captured the French privateer L'�clair, 3 x 2 pdrs., from Cherbourg, commanded by Jacquiere Toussaint le Terrier, with 20 men, not having taken anything.

26 Dec 1800 in company with the Hired Armed Cutter Vigilant re-captured the Brig Elizabeth. 6 Apr 1801 salvage money resulting will be paid on her next arrival in port.

17 Feb 1801 remains in the Downs.

23 Jul 1801 remains in the Downs.

10 Aug 1801 departed the Downs with the Boddington, Cadenhead, to join the convoy for Jamaica.

23 Aug 1801 departed the Downs yesterday evening with several ships under convoy for Portsmouth.
