3 Mar 1799 HM Hired Lugger Brave, Lieutenant John Guyon, and Hired Cutter Lord Nelson, Lieutenant Robert Percy, Commander, captured the 2 vessels Baron Von Hopkin and Sverigie Lycka.

1 Oct 1800 the Lord Nelson captured and burnt a sloop from Camaret, bound to Bourdeaux, with empty casks ; and on Monday last drove on shore, under a battery, 3 brigs and 3 sloops, which had made their escape from within the Penmarks during the late gales.

12 Oct 1800 the Montague, Magnificent, and Lord Nelson Cutter captured 8 small French Vessels.

21 Oct 1800 the Montague, Magnificent, Marlborough, and Lord Nelson Cutter captured 1 small French Vessel, marked Letter F.

23 Oct 1800 the Montague, Marlborough, and Lord Nelson, Cutter captured La Marquireto.

25 Oct 1800 the Montague and Lord Nelson cutter captured the Maria Rose, and Two Wrecks.

11 Jan 1801 came into Plymouth Sound a French sloop, with wine and brandy, bound to Brest, prize to the Captain, of 74 guns, and Nelson cutter, Lieutenant Pearce.

11 Jan 1801 arrived Plymouth from the coast of France, the Captain, 74, very leaky, attended by the Fisgard, and Lord Nelson cutter, off the sound ; she fired guns of distress from Pontie points, till she got into the narrows, when all the boats of the yard and fleet came to her assistance, and she got into Hamoaze very leaky, pumping all her trip from the Black Rocks.

20 Jan 1801 departed Plymouth Sound to unknown station with the King's proclamation for stopping all Russian, Danish, and Swedish vessels.

3 Feb 1801 sent into Plymouth the following detained Danish merchantmen, viz. the brig Friendship, of Altona, Lume, master, from Marens, with salt for Hambro' ; and the brig Nord Felt, of Copenhagen, Kreane, master, laden with salt from St Martin's.

4 Feb 1801 sent into Plymouth the Danish merchantmen, Able Margaretta, laden with salt from St Martin's bound to Drondheim.

28 Feb 1801 arrived Plymouth from a cruise in the Channel. On Thursday last she chased the French lugger privateer L'Espoir, 14 guns, and 75 men, of St Maloes, which she brought to action, for 35 minutes, when the privateer struck. After the prisoners were exchanged the Oiseau bore down and sent a boat on board, and ordered her for Spithead. The Espoir was much shattered in the exchange, however, no lives were lost.

1 Mar 1801 L'Espoir, prize to the Lord Nelson arrived Plymouth this morning.

31 Aug 1801 arrived Plymouth the Spanish schooner Premamara, in ballast, captured on the 19th inst by the hired armed cutter Lord Nelson.

13 Sep 1804 prize money for the 2 vessels Baron Von Hopkin and Sverigie Lycka paid.
