2 Jul 1799 departed Plymouth with dispatches for Earl St. Vincent.

2 Aug 1799 arrived Plymouth the armed brig Louisa from the Straits.

29 Aug 1799 arrived Plymouth from a cruize.

1 Sep 1799 arrived Plymouth from a cruize.

10 Dec 1799 arrived Plymouth the Louisa, from Gibraltar, with dispatches.

30 Apr 1800 Plymouth, arrived Plymouth from the Straits, the Louisa, 14, Lt. Banks, with dispatches for the Admiralty, from R.-Adm. Duckworth, stating his having fallen in with, in the Straits, from Carthagena to Lima, the annual fleet with 150 tons of quicksilver.

26 Sep 1800 Plymouth, the Louisa, 14, Lt Truscott, just come from the Straits, is fitting for the same service.

16 Apr 1801 was in the Bay at Gibraltar with a French brig privateer brought in here on the 15th.

8 May 1801 arrived Plymouth Sound with dispatches from Egypt, which she had previously landed at Mount's Bay, from Admiral Lord Keith, and General Sir Ralph Abercromby.

12 Jul 1801 departed Gibraltar to chase a Franco-Spanish squadron observed sailing from Algeziras. 12th-13th the engagement commenced resulting in the destruction of 2 first rates, and the capture of a 3rd rate.

13 Jun 1801 an express came down to Plymouth from the Admiralty and Secretary of State for Egypt, which was put on board the Louisa which sailed direct for Egypt. This morning she sent in the Og lug-sail vessel, of Falmouth, with 200 casks of spirits from Guernsey, which she seized last evening off Falmouth.

3 Aug 1801 arrived Plymouth Sound the Louisa, from Adm Saumarez, at Gibraltar, with dispatches from Minorca and Gibraltar, which were landed at Mount's Bay, on Friday last with Lt Truscott, her commanding officer, and Lt Dumaresque, who set off express to the Admiralty, (See Gazette, page 149).

6-7 Sep 1801 departed Plymouth Sound the hired armed brig Louisa, Lt Wm Truscott, to Madeira, with dispatches for Capt Bowen, of the Argo, 44, and Col Clinton, and a Lieutenant for the Argo, along with her Master.

8 Nov 1801 remained at Falmouth.

9 Nov 1801 arrived Plymouth from Madeira, last from Falmouth.

26 Dec 1801 arrived Gibraltar, the Louisa, 14, Lt Truscott, and has gone to Madeira with dispatches again.
