Late 1862-63 included visits to the Coast of Syria, Gulf of Scanderoon, Cyprus, Beyrut and near loss and Cyprus again, Corfu and the Ionian Islands, including Santa Maura and Argostoli, in Cephalonia, and on to Morocco, back to Gibraltar, and thence to Cadiz.
