May 1797 commissioned for service in the North Sea.

7 May 1801 arrived Sheerness, from Leith, Lt Wm Malone.

10 May 1801 departed last night Sheerness, with a convoy for Leith.

11 May 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth.

25 Aug 1801 at Sheerness, and has been appointed convoy for the Elbe. Nearly 100 sail of merchant vessels were reported to be waiting for a fair wind for the Baltic and Hamburgh.

27 Aug 1801 The Manly, Lt Malone, made a signal at Sheerness for a convoy for the Elbe to weigh. They got under weigh about seven o'clock, with the wind to the Southward.

4 Oct 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth from a cruise.

7 Oct 1801 departed N. Yarmouth on a cruise.

11 Oct 1801 arrived Sheerness, the Manley, gun-brig, Lt Malone, from Leith.

12 Nov 1801 remains Sheerness, with 6 sloops and 14 gun-brigs, at the Nore.

20 Nov 1801 Sheerness, the Crash, Manley and Swinger, gun brigs, are ordered to proceed for the River.

8 Jan 1802 to depart Sheerness this evening for the River the gun brigs Constant, Manley, Conflict, Pouncer, and Haughty, with seamen to be put on board the newly built Plantagenet, laying at Woolwich, to bring her down to the Nore. Wind ENE, Moderate.

14 Feb 1802 arrived Sheerness the gun brigs Bouncer, Manley and Swinger, from Chatham.

7 Apr 1802 one of 20+ vessels to be paid off at Sheerness and the Nore.

1 Dec 1802 notice is given that the Manly Gun-Vessel, lying at Sheerness, has been put up for sale.
