12 Dec 1796 captured the French privateer Espoir off Dungeness [Lieut. C. Webb].

25 Feb 1798 captured the French lugger-privateer Revanche, which sank shortly after being taken[Lieut. Webb].

14 Sep 1798 captured the Brig Mentor.

1 Jan 1799 CO : Lt Terence O'Neale ; stationed : North Sea (N.C.).

Aug-Oct 1799 employed on expedition to Holland.

1 Feb 1800 captured the Dutch privateer cutter Flushinger, 4 guns, 28 men, Mynheer Van C. G. Hamendel, commanding, off the Texel, out from Helvoet 3 days.

7 Feb 1800 North Yarmouth, being in want of ordnance stores, not to be had here, has to go to the Nore for a supply.

2 Mar 1801 captured the French privateer Bien Venu in the North Sea [Lieut. M. Wright].
An enemy cruizer, 12-14 guns, and 50 - 60 men, was observed in Southwold Bay, working towards some coasting vessels and captured a sloop. The sea fencibles were warned as were a detachment of dragoons and a number of shots were fired from the local battery which drove off the privateer, whilst warning other vessels in the area, which included the hired vessels Marechal de Cobourg and Speculator lugger, who captured the privateer and re-captured the sloop.

5 Mar and 9 Oct 1801 the Kite, Espiegle and (Marquis) Cobourg in company, involved in the capture of the Juffrow Catharina.

22 and 23 Jul 1801 captured the Negotie and Zewart, Hoop, and Juffrouw Dirkje.

26 Feb 1802 prize money resulting from the capture of the Brig Mentor due to be paid.

15 Jun 1804 prize money for the capture of the Negotie and Zewart, Hoop, and Juffrouw Dirkje due for payment.
