18 Sep 1854 off Lagos where Kosoko was threatening the peace,

28 Sep 1854 have eventually arrived off the Appi River, with the Crane, 45 miles from Lagos and obtained Kosoko's signature on a treaty or agreement not to threaten Lagos again.

8 Nov 1854 at Accra it is reported by the Scourge that fever has broken out on board the Minx and that she had been sent to Ascension via Prince's Island.

19 Oct 1855 up the Old Calabar River.
