6 Nov 1801 arrived Sheerness from the Downs.

3 Dec 1801 remains Sheerness.

25 Dec 1801 departed Sheerness, the Monkey, Lt Carsillis, for Harwich.

4 Jan 1802 remains at Harwich.

11 Jan 1802 the Conqueror, with the Mariner, Monkey, Jackall, and Minx in company, departed Felixstowe Roads this morning with a fine northerly wind for the Nore.

12 Jan 1802 the Conqueror arrived at the Nore from Harwich, with the Mariner, Monkey, Jackall, and Minx in company.

19 Mar 1802 departed Sheerness, the gun brig Monkey, Lt Weir, for the Downs.

26 Mar 1802 remains in the Downs.

6 Apr 1802 remains in the Downs the St Alban's, 74 ; Amazon, frigate ; Hound, sloop ; Conflict, Monkey, and Vixen gun-vessels ; and Ranger, store-brig.

20 Apr 1802 Adm Lutwidge struck his flag yesterday evening, and this morning the St Alban's departed the Downs for Chatham, to be paid off, and the Amazon, frigate ; Eugenie, sloop ; Conflict, Monkey, and Vixen gun-vessels remain.

12 Oct 1803 remain in the Downs the Monarch, Right Hon Adm Lord Keith ; Utrecht, R.-Adm Montague, Capt Rogers ; Diana, Capt Maling ; Ranger, sloop, Capt Coats ; Squirrel ; Autumn, Capt Jackson ; Vesuvius, Capt O'Brien, bomb ; Sulphur, Capt M'Leod ; Archer, Conflict, Monkey, and Sterling, gun brigs ; the latter from a cruise.

3 Nov 1803 arrived Harwich from a cruise, and remains with the Charger and Aggressor.

6 Nov 1803 departed Harwich on a cruise.

29 Nov 1803 arrived N Yarmouth the William, of Scarborough, from London to Yarmouth, and the Orford, of North Shields, in ballast, captured off Orfordness by a French lugger privateer of 6 guns, and re-captured by the Monkey gun brig.

23-25 Apl 1805 was a part of a squadron which captured off Boulogne the Dutch Armed Schuyts Nos 43, 44, 45, 48, 52, 54, 57, and 58, and the unarmed Transport No 3 and is entitled to Head-Money being one of the actual Captors.

May 1805 Downs Station

12 Aug 1809 off Dais head on the Danish coast, discovered and chased a lugger, which anchored with two others : the Monkey was sent in with the ship's boats of the Lynx and the 3 vessels cut out.

12 Jan 1811 sent into Plymouth the French brig La Vandesigeur, a prize to the Monkey.

16 Jan 1811 sent into Plymouth the French brig Rose, a prize to the Monkey.

17 Jan 1811 captured five sail off the coast of France.

[I have to assume that these vessels had been taken prior to the Monkey being wrecked, and I can find no record of another vessel with this name around this period !]
