May 1805 North Sea

23 Feb 1806 whilst cruising close off the port of Cadiz observed a small squadron of French frigates put to sea. The Moselle was detached to inform the Flag Officer whilst the Hydra maintained contact and on the 27th captured the accompanying brig-corvette Furet.

Falmouth 29 Dec 1806 arrived from the Mediterranean.

Falmouth 28 Dec 1806 arrived to accompany convoy to the Mediterranean.

Apr 1807 whilst cruising off Altavella the Pike was captured by the French privateer Marat. Shortly afterwards the Moselle recaptured her.

14 Jan 1813 Reports arriving in England state she has been cruising off Charleston Bar.

Kingston, Jamaica, 14 Jan 1813 is reported to have re-captured the brig, Lord Wellington, Clephane.

14 Sep 1813, remained at the Chesapeake when a part of the squadron went to Halifax N.S.

Jamaica 12 Nov 1814 remains.

14 October 1815 Acadian Recorder, Halifax reports loss of the Moselle, whilst convoying the Jamaica fleet, in a gale circa 9 Aug 1815, but, since she was subsequently disposed of later in the year it would appear to be another of those urban myths, although I guess it might give us a clue as to where she was at this time ? if she wasn't already preparing for being broken up ?

27 Dec 1830 prize money due for Ynez, captured 11 Apr 1808, due to be paid.
