Oct/Nov 1795 M. Ganteaume arrived in the Levant with his squadron, where he captured a great many merchant vessels, and, at the port of Smyrna, released the frigate Sensible, and corvette Sardine with her prize, the late British frigate Nemesis, Captain Samuel Hood Linzee, until now blockaded by the Aigle and Cyclops.

9 Mar 1796 boats of a squadron, including the Barfleur, Egmont and Bombay Castle, retake the 28-gun frigate Nemesis from Tunis harbour.

21 Dec 1799 Portsmouth, arrived the Nemesis, and Atalante, from a cruise.

12-13 Jan 1800 the frigate Nemesis, sloop Savage, lugger Nile, cutters Narcissus, Union, and Stag in sight of or involved in the capture of the French Privateer lugger Le Renard, 14 guns, 2 swivels, and 65 men, Jean Jacque Fourmintin, Master, Privateer lugger Le Modere, and recapture of the English brig Atlas, from Lisbon ; the Nile then being posted off Calais, and the Union off Boulogne, whilst the Nemesis repaired to the Downs with the prizes and the commanding officer wrote his report of the events to the CinC there.

27 Jun-8 Jul 1800 involved in the operation to capture the French frigate D�sir�e from Dunkerque harbour and burn other vessels. The D�sir�e was subsequently purchased into the Service.

15 Jun 1802 departed Spithead the Nemesis, 28, Captain Somerville, for Milford.

17 Jul 1802 it is reported from Milford Haven that when getting under way at about 11.00 am this morning the Seagull went aground on a sand bank as the tide went out, and may have been lost, but for the timely assistance of the frigate Nemesis, sloop Spitfire, and an unnamed gun brig, who got her shored up whilst she was water born, and at 4 pm, as the tide returned she was floated off without any damage.

10 Nov 1802 arrived Plymouth from Milford for repairs having sprung her bowsprit on her last cruise in the Irish Channel. She took a pilot on board off Cawsand Bay and went through the Sound, directly into Hamoaze to make good her damage.

28 Nov 1802 arrived Plymouth Sound the Nemesis, 32, Captain Somerville, to repair the damages she sustained in a late gales, having sprung her bowsprit : she went up the harbour directly, and is to go into dock the first tide.

30 Nov 1802 went into dock, to be covered and new coppered, and to have damages experienced in gales to be made good.

10 Dec 1802 remains in dock at Plymouth, the Tonnant, 84 ; Mars, 74 ; Terrible, 74 ; Impetueux, 84 ; Fisgard, 48 ; and Nemesis, 32.

30 Dec 1802 saw out the storm last night in Plymouth Sound having out 3 cables an end, yards and top-masts struck.

12 Jun 1803 arrived Plymouth last evening with four French prizes : 2 West India ships from the West Indies ; a brig with cotton ; and a schooner from Cayenne, with sundries. Also landed 100 French prisoners from the Fleet, who were marched to the Mill prison.

12 Jul 1803 the Nemesis frigate captured off Portland a French lugger privateer, and recaptured an English brig which the privateer had taken.

7 Aug 1803 arrived Torbay the Nemesis and departed again last evening in a great hurry, accompanied by a lot of signals, apparently caused by a number of ships not shewing their signals or numbers. Similar problems were caused off the Isle of Wight by a fleet of coasters and American vessels failing to identify themselves recently, which ended up keeping the residents of Portsmouth awake for much of the night.

12 Dec 1804, at Brixham, it is reported that the Channel Fleet had arrived, including the : Ville de Paris, Prince George, Defiance, Britannia, Windsor Castle, Plantagenet, Goliath, Princess Royal, Thunderer, Courageaux, Dragon, and Warrior, joining the Atlas, Temeraire, and Nemesis, which were here. No officers allowed ashore which caused some disappointment to the trades people.

Circa 22 Dec 1804 in a gale Thursday last, in Torbay, apprehensions were entertained for the safety of the Nemesis, then labouring in tremendous seas. It was later reported that she managed to make her mooring eventually and is now safe.
