12 Nov 1803 the Dart, Inspector, Avenger, Orestes, Zephyr, and Abundance store ship, have now dropped down from Deptford and Woolwich to Long Reach, in the Medway, to take in their guns and powder, and wait only a fair wind to proceed to the Nore.

14 Nov 1803 in the River Thames.

Circa 26 Nov 1803 the Dart, Inspector, Avenger, Orestes, Zephyr, and Abundance store ship, have dropped down from Long Reach to the Nore to complete their complement of men.

16 Dec 1803 arrived N Yarmouth from off the Dutch Coast.

24 Dec 1803 departed from Yarmouth for Elsinore with a convoy.

10 Sep 1804 dispatches received at the Admiralty yesterday advise that the Champion, Orestes, and Jackal had engaged some 50 vessels which had departed Ostend for Boulogne ; the Orestes was reported to have received some damage.

23 Oct 1804 when off Boulogne, somewhat later in the day Capt W W C R Owen, Immortalite, accompanied by the Orestes and Basilisk, reported that at half past three this afternoon, as he approached Cape Grisnez, he observed a division of 15 of the enemy's small vessels keeping close inshore, undercover of their batteries and accompanying horse artillery, making the best of their way to shelter themselves within the Banc de Laine. 23-25 Apl 1805 was a part of a squadron which captured off Boulogne the Dutch Armed Schuyts Nos 43, 44, 45, 48, 52, 54, 57, and 58, and the unarmed Transport No 3.
