20 Mar 1800 Portsmouth, arrived the Osprey, 18, Captain Watts, from the Downs.

2 Jun 1800 Portsmouth, arrived with the Circe, Plover, and Eugenie, with fifteen flat-bottomed boats from the Downs.

18 Jun 1800 Portsmouth, departed with the Terpsichore, and Eugenie, on a cruise.

20 Jul 1800 Portsmouth, arrived with the Jalouse, with a convoy from the Downs.

27 Aug 1800 Portsmouth, the Osprey, with the ships bound to the Cape of Good Hope and the South Seas, went down to St. Helens.

6 Sep 1800 Portsmouth, departed with several vessels under his convoy, for Africa, and the Cape of Good Hope.

23 Jun 1801 arrived Spithead from the coast of Guinea, in 7 weeks, with no news of consequence.

24 Jul 1801 arrived Spithead from a cruise.

31 Jul 1801 departed Spithead to collect the outward-bound West India convoy at Falmouth, or alternatively, departed Spithead for the Barbadoes with dispatches, depending on source.

5 Aug 1801 arrived Falmouth to pick up vessels for the West India convoy, and join it when it passes down the Channel from Spithead.

8 Aug 1801 departed Spithead the Santa Margarita, 36, Capt Parker, with East and West India convoys: she will be joined off Falmouth by the Osprey sloop of war, Captain Irwin, and the trade from that port. The East India convoy will part company at a certain latitude.

10 Aug 1801 the Osprey joined the Santa Margarita and her convoys to the East and West Indies, with her convoy from Falmouth.

21 Oct 1801 the Falmouth packet Lord Charles Spencer arrived Barbadoes, and after departing Barbadoes, regret no dates given, arrived at Martinique where he found the Leviathan, Osprey and Surinam, and after delivering mail at the several Leeward Isles, arrived at Tortola on 14 Nov., where he found the Southampton, which departed that place on the 16th, with the packet in company.

12 May 1803 a letter as dated from Barbadoes reports that the Centaur, Argo, Emerald, Heureux, Cyane, Osprey, Gauchapin, Drake, Netley, and L'Eclair are now gone to Martinique, and the Venus and Hornet cruise off Guadaloupe.

9 Oct 1803 ship's boats chase and capture the French privateer-schooner Resource.

26-27 October 1803 ship's boats captured the French privateer Mima off Trinidad.

23 Mar 1804 engagement with the larger French frigate-built privateer Egyptienne, which was captured 2 days later by the sloop Hippomenes.

Circa 18 Aug 1804 Capt Younghusband of the Osprey, made a post Captain, into the Blenheim, vice Graves, who came home in the Ulysses.

17 May 1805 captured the French privateer Teazer on the Leeward Island station.

27 Jun 1805 chased by French frigates, but by a rouse de guerre made the French think that a British fleet lurked ahead, and burnt the 15 valuable merchant vessels captured on 8 Jun.

Yarmouth 29 May 1811 arrived from Heligoland, with convoy.

Portsmouth 19 Mar 1812 departed in pursuit of a French squadron.

16 Jul 1812 Osprey, Britomart and Leveret, north-west of the island of Heligoland, sent the ships' boats in chase of the French lugger privateer Eole, which was captured following a stiff resistance.
